Hello!

My penname is Tigrislupa. Hmmm, what to say. I'm currently a 23 year-old girl who has come to find that she's on the slightly lower end of the height spectrum (who knew 5'1.5" was short?).

I seem to have this weird fixation on characters with a slightly messed up father/son or older brother/younger brother relationship (in a purely platonic way). Roy Mustang and Edward Elric. Echizen Ryoma and his teammates. Cloud Strife and Zack Fair. Histugaya Toushirou and various characters. Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru. Timothy Drake and the rest of the Bat family. Peter Burke Neal Caffrey. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. It's a running theme. One day I'll figure out why I have it. Until then, I'll enjoy the happy feelings of seeing it in action.

Oh, and smart little genius characters. And not the braggarts either. There's a difference between confidence in your abilities and bragging.

As you can see below, dancing is a passion of mine. I am currently a competitive silver/gold level dancer in all the ballroom styles and love social dancing of all sorts, including folk dancing, contradance, lindy, blues, west coast swing, salsa, and ballroom.

Reading is another pastime, both actual books and fanfiction. Action, fantasy, humor, mystery, and adventure are some of my favorite genres. My room could pass for a library, as I probably have close to a thousand books filling about six full-size bookshelves. Douglas Adams, JK Rowling, Mark Twain, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Eoin Colfer, Anthony Horowitz, Clive Cussler, and DJ MacHale are just a handful of my favorite authors.

Comics are something that I have more recently started reading. I have fallen in love with the Batman universe, with Timothy Drake, the third Robin, being my favorite character. And of course Alfred.

I don't watch much actual TV, but White Collar is a show I've come to love. I cannot express how much joy this show brings me; it is intelligent, is witty, shows a strong marriage, has a great cast, is wonderfully written, has a wonderful huge dog,...I could go on.

I also watch anime. Fullmetal Alchemist was one of my first, followed by Prince of Tennis. Edward Elric and Echizen Ryoma are by far my favorite characters. I watched Inuyasha (yes all of it...barely), by the end of it purely for any interaction between the brothers. I have to say that I hate Kagome with a fiery passion. But that's a rant for another time. Eyeshield 21 was another series (Sena is adorable). Bleach...I am still working through. Hitsugaya Toushirou is definitely my favorite character.

Lastly, I don't often get too into movies...but I think most anyone can make an exception for the original Star Wars trilogy. My parents, particularly my dad, introduced it to my brother and I when we were ten and I've loved it ever since. I still know far too many trivial things about it. It will always have a special place in my heart, though.
